ARCHIVE // SPECIMEN 001
Delivery pending.
For 3,412 years.
The machine failed. The mission did not.
Machines should not leave fossils. These did.
Tomorrow’s Fossils is a collection of original, highly detailed resin-printable artifacts — recovered from histories that never happened. Every specimen arrives as documented digital STL files: you download the evidence, print it on your own resin printer, and complete the restoration with paint and patience. No physical item is shipped; the excavation happens on your build plate.
Recovered specimens
Each specimen includes a documented discovery, print-ready files and the right to restore it yourself.
The Last Courier
A mineralised courier robot, curled protectively around a sealed delivery capsule. Delivery status: still active.
The Tidal Archivist
A mechanical archivist embedded in riverstone, its recording drum stopped mid-rotation.
The Garden Sentinel
A compact watch-machine grown through by roots that fossilised around their prisoner.
The First Excavation
The complete first dig: courier, archivist and sentinel, recovered together.
“One cable remained intact.”
The rib assembly fossilised under compression yet kept its geometry — nine printable parts with keyed joints reproduce it without warping tricks.
“Its final charge was routed away from locomotion.”
The cable run prints as a separate part, so the most fragile detail cures flat and assembles last — orientation notes included.
“The package was never opened.”
The sealed capsule is its own sub-assembly with an optional 3×2 mm magnet variant. The status light is a paint moment, not a sticker.
Specimen 001 — The Last Courier
168 × 122 × 96 mm assembled · 9 parts · intermediate difficulty · personal €14 / commercial €49.
The render is only the beginning.
Every released specimen is prepared for physical restoration. File contents, dimensions and print notes are documented before you download — and we only ever claim what has actually been verified.
