Frequently asked questions

The short answers. Anything missing: archive@tomorrowsfossils.com.

Do I receive a physical model?

No. Every product is a digital STL package for resin 3D printing. You print, cure and finish the specimen yourself. No physical item will be shipped.

How is my order delivered?

Instantly after payment: a secure, expiring download link is emailed to the address from checkout, and the same link appears on the confirmation page. No account is needed.

My download link expired — now what?

Use the Order help page. Enter your order email and every order under it receives a fresh secure link. Links stay renewable for as long as the order stands.

Which printers are supported?

Any current MSLA/DLP resin printer. Each specimen lists its assembled size and the recommended build plate; most parts fit small plates.

Are the files pre-supported?

Not yet. Packages ship unsupported STLs with documented per-part orientation notes; pre-supported versions are planned and will be a free update for every purchaser.

What do the licences allow?

Personal: print, paint, display and gift finished prints. Commercial: additionally sell physical prints you make. Neither licence ever allows sharing or reselling the digital files.

How do file updates work?

Updates are free. When a specimen's files improve, every purchaser receives an email with a fresh download link for the new version.

Can I get a refund?

Digital files are delivered immediately, which is why checkout asks you to waive the withdrawal period — but if something is genuinely wrong with a package, write in and it will be made right. Details on the refund policy page.

Is Tomorrow's Fossils making real archaeological claims?

No. The archive is original fiction, clearly presented as such. The print files, dimensions and licences are the non-fiction part.
